SnaccMate Terms of Service

Welcome to SnaccMate! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SnaccMate app, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using SnaccMate, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Who Can Use SnaccMate

  • You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under Indian law.
  • By using SnaccMate, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

2. Account Creation & Security

  • You must register using a valid personal email and a professional/college domain for verification. We never store your full work email, only the domain.
  • You are responsible for maintaining your account security. Do not share your password with anyone.
  • You may not impersonate others or create accounts for anyone other than yourself.
  • If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at cookies@snaccmate.com.

3. User Content & Conduct

  • You are responsible for all content you post, including photos, captions, and interactions.
  • Do not post or share content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or violates the rights of others.
  • Do not post sensitive personal information (addresses, phone numbers, credit card details, etc.).
  • SnaccMate may moderate, remove, or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines.

4. Platform Features

  • SnaccMate allows users to post photos, captions, interact with posts, send and receive cookies (virtual and IRL), and use wallet features to send gifts or payments.
  • Location access is required for core features. If you do not grant permission, you cannot use the main functionalities.
  • Wallet balances are non-transferable and non-refundable except as required by law.

5. Payments & Refunds

  • Payments are processed via Razorpay. By making a purchase, you agree to Razorpay’s terms and policies.
  • SnaccMate does not store your full payment information.
  • Refunds are only provided as required by Indian law or at our sole discretion.

6. Privacy & Data

  • Your use of SnaccMate is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
  • We collect, use, and share your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Location & Device Permissions

  • Location access is required to use SnaccMate. If you do not grant permission, you cannot use the core features.
  • You may be prompted to grant device permissions for full functionality.

8. Third-Party Services

  • SnaccMate may use third-party services for analytics, payments, communications, and other functions. These services have their own privacy policies and terms.
  • We are not responsible for the content, privacy, or security practices of third-party sites or services.

9. Termination & Account Deletion

  • You may delete your account at any time in the app or by contacting us at cookies@snaccmate.com.
  • SnaccMate may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or applicable law.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • SnaccMate is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties regarding availability, security, or accuracy.
  • We are not liable for any damages resulting from your use of SnaccMate, except as required by Indian law.

11. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app, website, or by email.
  • Your continued use of SnaccMate after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
